About me
My name is Mahrou Sanei, and my journey with the piano began at the age of 15. I started my formal piano education later at Arpa Music College under the guidance of Dr. Arbi Baboumian. During my time there, I had the privilege of participating in masterclasses led by professional pianists. After five years of dedicated learning at Arpa, I pursued a one-year independent piano pedagogy program.
My teaching journey started in Iran and continued when I moved to Sweden. I began teaching piano alongside my own studies, sharing my passion for music with students of varying ages and backgrounds. Upon relocating to Sweden, I persisted in my classical piano studies while also expanding my teaching practice.
With my students, I aim to inspire creativity by incorporating engaging games and activities into my lessons, creating an environment where learning is a joyful and enriching experience.
Piano Method
In Soulist piano school, we work with Faber piano method. This method can be used for anyone at any level or age, depending on how the students respond to the method. One of the significant advantages of this method is that students learn music theory simultaneously with learning to play the instrument, which is very important for every pianist. In addition to the main book, there are also Disney books, Christmas books, and other themed books in each level which help the students play pieces from different genres in music.
